It’s been 11 years now and we like to think we’ve gotten pretty good at burgers and chips. We’re all about top quality beef, the best potatoes and good times. Don’t just take our word for it though, we’ll let our food and people do the talking. After all, we’re Just Being Honest…
We knew that with great British produce, we could make the best burgers we’d tasted – anywhere. We use British cheese, British veg and British relish. We’re homegrown and homemade – we always have been and we always will be.
In New Orleans (and throughout the American South) ‘chow chow’ goes on anything and everything.
Chow chow is a sweet and tangy mustard-infused relish made from green tomatoes, onions and any seasonal veg that needs using. It cuts through all kinds of rich foods from fried chicken and hotdogs to BBQ beans and cornbread.
We owe this discovery to our new friend Eva. Born and raised in NYC but with deep roots in the South, Eva grew up helping her mum through the busy canning and preserving seasons every summer and fall. These days Eva’s settled in London but she keeps her family tradition alive as The Garden of Eva, a new home for the pickles and condiments of her American Southern heritage.
