New special: Halloumi

We love to champion the best British ingredients wherever possible. We recently found a delicious and unique halloumi-style cheese in the Isle of Wight from Briddlesford Farm, where the family has been producing high quality milk since 1923.
As it’s not made in Cyprus it has to be called ‘halloumi-style cheese’. But there’s nothing inferior about this Great Taste gold-winning cheese, which is as original as it is delicious. Made from 100% Guernsey cow’s milk instead of the usual blend of sheep’s and goat’s milk – it’s high butterfat content gives it a rich buttery flavour and a soft texture that clings to the beef.
HALLOUMI: Honest beef, British halloumi-style cheese, bacon, smashed avocado, harissa mayo, rocket and pink pickles.
