New special: Chicago

We’ve given the classic American cheeseburger the steakhouse treatment. This brand new special is heavily inspired by one of the very best burgers we’ve ever had – the ‘Dirty Burg’ at The Loyalist in Chicago’s West Loop.

The star of the show is our homemade ‘A1’ steak sauce. It’s a tangy, fruity sauce that hits the sweet spot between ketchup and worcestershire. A dash of Maker’s Mark Kentucky bourbon at the end adds oaky vanilla complexity. It’s mighty stuff.

We’ve also created a special cocktail with Maker’s Mark and East London soda masters Square Root to celebrate the collaboration. You won’t be able to try it in restaurants until after lockdown but if you would like to give it a go at home you can buy the whisky and soda online here.
