It’s been 11 years now and we like to think we’ve gotten pretty good at burgers and chips. We’re all about top quality beef, the best potatoes and good times. Don’t just take our word for it though, we’ll let our food and people do the talking. After all, we’re Just Being Honest…
If you order an Honest burger – any burger – it comes with rosemary salted chips or seasonal coleslaw or dressed green salad.
We met in Brighton at university. We loved restaurants. We talked about them, worked in them, ate in them, and thought ‘we can do better than them’. So we pooled our savings and bought a marquee, a fryer and a grill. That's where it all began for Honest Burgers.
The collab was conjured up by our colleague David, who wanted to feature Cheshire cheese – Britain’s number one cheese in the time of legendary stage actor David Garrick (the theatre and street is named after him).
The tomato relish is made by Rubies in the Rubble, who use ingredients that would otherwise have been wasted because they're the wrong shape, size or colour. It’s the perfect match for the Appleby’s Cheshire cheese.
