Frontline Support

April 16, 2020

Efforts to support the community, frontline workers and vulnerable groups has been much of our work since we closed our restaurant doors. Initially this was ensuring we made best use of the leftover food in each of our restaurants and the teams worked their last shifts cooking off burgers and chips for nearby hospital teams, local charities and foodbanks.

Our central Honest kitchen was also in healthy stock, so a small army of volunteers from across our business, led by Tom our co-founder and James our Exec Chef, headed down to create, from scratch, around 8,000 Honest ready meals using all our remaining fresh ingredients that would have otherwise been wasted. Wild garlic pesto lasagne, Honest beef cottage pie and Bolognese were homemade, packed, labelled up and handed over to the brilliant City Harvest who are a London based charity that distribute food to those in greatest need.

We’re working now on other fundraising initiatives to ensure we can keep on generating support for our frontline workers and those more vulnerable in our society. Keep an eye out here in our news section and on our socials.

New February special: Fondue

Hangover burger bloody mary ketchup, cheese, bacon and gravy

New Special: Hangover

December 27, 2020: We know this isn't the normal festive period, but we're happy to be able to keep some things constant this year. For when you might need a little TLC, the Hangover (our classic New Year's Day special) is here for you for the next few days to see out 2020 and bring in the new year.

Tier changes

December 16, 2020: With more of us heading into tier 3 and 4, find out how you can still get your burger fix and which restaurants are open.

Our Christmas and Veggie Christmas DIY burger kits are now available on our Honest at Home shop. Each kit comes in an Honest tote bag and contains everything you need* to make two or four burgers at home, and you can watch our co-founder Tom cook the kits in his own kitchen here. Afraid we can’t send you our chips (you’d need a deep fat fryer) but we’ve thrown in some rosemary salt for good measure – so get the spuds in. Honest at Home kits are on sale all week long with UK nationwide delivery, and every kit we sell helps to pay and support our teams, so a big thank you from all of us. *gluten-free buns available.
