It’s been 11 years now and we like to think we’ve gotten pretty good at burgers and chips. We’re all about top quality beef, the best potatoes and good times. Don’t just take our word for it though, we’ll let our food and people do the talking. After all, we’re Just Being Honest…
We knew from day one that we wanted to use British beef, and certain (fattier, more expensive) cuts to make our burgers juicier and extra tender. But no-one else made burgers like ours, so in the early days butcher after butcher sent us on our way.
We met in Brighton at university. We loved restaurants. We talked about them, worked in them, ate in them, and thought ‘we can do better than them’. So we pooled our savings and bought a marquee, a fryer and a grill. That's where it all began for Honest Burgers.
Our homemade Fritter is available as a veggie or vegan burger.
It’s a southern fried sweetcorn and cauliflower fritter with coleslaw, chipotle mayo, onion and pickles.
If you like dairy cheese you can opt for cheddar, while those wanting an entirely plant-based version can swap for Applewood Vegan cheese and vegan chipotle mayo.
