Reading’s very own local burger is made with Honest beef, Village Maid Waterloo cheese, bacon, white truffle mayo, truffled shoestring fries, rocket and pickles.
We season our chips as soon as we fry them. You can hear them hiss as we add the salt. The heat from the chips cooks the lemon and rosemary and the smell hits you as they reach the table.

Village Maid are second generation cheesemakers based in the rural village of Riseley just seven miles away from our Reading restaurant. For 38 years Village Maid has produced award-winning artisan cheeses that are unique in style but incorporate traditional cheesemaking methods. They use the highest quality milk from local farmers.
Waterloo is an award-winning semi-soft cheese made from unpasteurised Guernsey cow’s milk with a vegetarian rennet. It is an unpasteurised “washed-curd” style cheese similar to camembert.
