It takes a lot to be honest. We make our burgers from scratch in our own butchery. It’s not the easiest way but it means we can serve our burgers pink, so they eat more like a steak. We buy the best British potatoes from local farmers then double-cooked and rosemary salted. Always fresh, never frozen.
Whether it’s made in our prep kitchen, from a farm or local supplier we don’t cut corners and never compromise on the quality of ingredients.

Pimento cheese is the star of the show in this month’s special – a staple of the American South that goes back for generations. It’s a delicious blend of cheddar, cream cheese, mayo and sweet pickled peppers. We’ve paired it with our British cereal fried chicken, BBQ mayo, lettuce and pickles.
We’ve partnered with homesick American ex-pat, Jane, the creator of Homewrecker who took her homemade pimento cheese into her local pub seven years ago, and it’s been on the menu ever since.

Honest Burgers is a British burger restaurant, first opened in Brixton in 2011. We aim to serve the best burgers across the UK. We make everything we can ourselves, and we even have our own butchery so we can make the best burgers we’d always dreamed of.
